What if I told you there was a hidden Facebook Feature that allowed you to invite people to like your page? People who are not your friends. I have to say this is one of my favorite features. It’s also one of the easiest ways to get new likes. The best part of this is these are already people that have engaged with your page organically and so inviting them is just the next step. I do this about once every couple of days and it takes roughly 5 minutes. I’ve seen my page gain new fans almost immediately after sending out invites.
Go to your page or a page you manage and look under your post where is tells you who is liking your posts. Click there.
Once you click a box will pop up and show you everyone that has liked that post. Next to their names you’ll see liked and invited grayed out. These are people who you have already invited or who already like your page. You will also see people who have a button next to their names that says invite. Just click it and you’ve just invited them to like your page. It’s simple and takes no time at all!
I’ve heard some people say they feel this is a tad spammy. My feelings are, these people already like your content so it’s just the next natural step. Also Facebook only allows you to invite someone one time. Facebook also doesn’t allow you to invite people once your page reaches 100,000 likes. So Facebook is trying to keep the spam factor down. One more note: you have to do this on your computer, it’s not available on Facebook mobile.
So go ahead and try it and see if it works for you as well as it works for me on Jefferson Parish Parent. Want to learn more about social media? Join our Facebook group.
